Adam Santana was born in Miami, Florida with deep ties to the South Florida and Cuban community. He attended the University of Florida where he graduated with honors before obtaining his Juris Doctor, with honors, from the Florida State University College of Law. He is admitted to practice throughout the State of Florida as well as in the United States Middle and Southern District Courts.
Mr. Santana began his career in public service, litigating as a Public Defender in Leon County, Florida. He subsequently became an Assistant State Attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where he served as a courtroom training attorney and was amongst the most active trial attorneys in his class, taking dozens of cases to verdict. This served as the foundation for Mr. Santana’s familiarity within the courtroom, which persists to this day.
After transitioning to civil practice, Mr. Santana spent several years with some of Miami’s most premier personal injury and malpractice defense firms. In that time, he litigated countless personal injury and medical malpractice actions while representing physician groups, medical facilities and entertainment venues, and their respective insurance companies. This provided him in-depth insight on how insurance companies evaluate personal injury claims and their strategic mechanisms for defending such cases. He soon came to understand the power imbalance between the large insurance companies and regular people who were carelessly injured through no fault of their own, and was inspired to use his knowledge and skills to zealously advocate for individuals against the very same institutions he used to defend. To that end, Mr. Santana has already secured several millions of dollars for his clients, including multiple seven figure settlements due to his aggressive litigation style and willingness to see any of his cases through to verdict in the courtroom.
Mr. Santana’s experience in the medical malpractice arena also gives him a distinct advantage when assessing the intricacies of an acute injury to not only prove his case, but to ensure his clients receive the appropriate care given their unique circumstances. Every case is different, and Mr. Santana works tirelessly to make sure his clients receive tailored and high quality medical care to best help them recover from their injuries while at the same time pushing their case forward expediently to get them the compensation they deserve.
