A 57 year old male claimed that he has over the last 10 years and currently suffers from Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome as a result of the negligence of an Emergency Department Physician’s failure to timely diagnose and treat a lower leg compartment syndrome. At the end of this three-week trial, the jury rejected his request for $9.5 million and found for the physician.

A mother claimed that her 19 year old daughter's vegetative state was the result of a medical error. The mother alleged that the physician missed the signs and symptoms of an oncoming stroke. At the end of this two-week trial, the jury found for the physician.

During this three-week case, it was alleged that the primary care physician for the elderly decedent failed to adhere to the patient’s end of life wish to not be intubated and revived after a cardiac arrest.
